URI Europe closed 2025 with its final Chai with URI Europe – Brewing Connections gathering, offering a warm space for members to celebrate the year, deepen relationships, and share priorities for the year to come.
The Chai format remains one of URI Europe’s signature community spaces, designed to strengthen relationships, inspire members, and explore pathways for collaboration in a welcoming atmosphere of cultural and spiritual diversity.
Highlights of the Gathering
Led by URI Europe staff—Karimah, Angelina, and Lejla—the session invited personal check-ins, shared learnings from recent initiatives, and updates on the regional strategic groups shaping 2026 priorities. More than 20 participants were coming from 12 countries. They reflected on goals for the coming year, naming intentions of deeper cooperation, youth empowerment, trauma-healing engagement, and strengthened partnership work across Europe.
Why Chai Matters
These virtual circles continue to offer more than updates—they build belonging, visibility, and motivation across a region layered with histories, traditions, and challenges. The call reaffirmed that URI Europe’s strength lies not only in its CC actions but in the relationships that carry us across borders, faiths, and cultures.
As one participant shared, “Even a single hour of honest connection transforms the way I return to my community.”
